ACP members can vote for four candidates to lead the national organization.  Voting takes place during the ten-day open voting period November 10-24, 2014.

The voting process is as follows:

  • From the nine candidates, each member of ACP will be asked to cast a vote for four people to fill four National Board vacancies;
  • Members will be notified to vote online on November 10th and provided the necessary link;
  • Virtual voting will be open for two weeks, from November 10th to November 24th;
  • While the vote will be held confidential, members will be asked to include their name, chapter or membership-at-large affiliation to assure each vote is cast by a member in good standing, and to ensure there are no duplications.

Election timeline:

  • November 10:  Online vote opens
  • November 10 - 24:  Period of time members may vote
  • November 17:  Reminder to vote
  • November 25 - 26: Candidates notified
Once the candidates have been notified, election results will be announced to the Board and membership.  The ACP national office will send periodic reminders to vote, as well as providing election updates and results in its weekly newsletter, ACP News and Views.
