Deadline approaches for feedback on UK National Occupation Standards for Business Continuity

Since 2011 Skills CFA, the government recognised standard setting organization for pan sector business skills, has been working with various stakeholders to develop business continuity occupational standards for use in the UK workplace.

A set of draft documents, the National Occupational Standards for Business Continuity Management, have been developed and Skills CFA is now seeking feedback on these.

National Occupational Standards (NOS) are ‘the measurable performance outcomes an individual is expected to reach in a given occupation’. They are the building blocks for defining competence in all sectors of the UK economy.

The NOS for Business Continuity Management (BCM) are made up of work-related statements which identify what an individual needs to know and be able to do, when carrying out functions related to BCM.

The feedback survey should take no more than 30 minutes to complete and the deadline is Friday 11th October 2013.
