BUCOPCI project releases business continuity guidelines

The results of the BUCOPCI (BUsiness COntinuity Planning for Critical Infrastructure) project are now available for download from the BUCOPCI website.

The 612,000 euro European Union supported project has been coordinated by Isdefe (Systems Engineering for the Defence of Spain).

The available documents are:

d4.1 Guidelines for Business Continuity Planning Version:1
This defines a set of guidelines on Business Continuity Planning for Critical Infrastructure Operators in the Transport Sector based on both current best practices and new innovative approaches.

The document includes the following main chapters:

Chapter I – Prerequisites: Identification of the prerequisites to develop a business continuity project.

Chapter II - Main Body: Definition of the core concepts and components of a Business Continuity Plan.

Chapter III - Final steps: Identification of the final steps for the success of a Business Continuity Plan of the project diffusion and maintenance.

d2.1 Report on Scenarios Definition v1 Version:1
Presents a series of scenarios to assist business continuity managers in the transport critical infrastructure sector.

These documents will be officially presented at a conference in Madrid on 11th of July of 2013.
