FEMA publishes new tabletop exercise resource for private sector business continuity planners

As part of its ongoing commitment to providing resources for private sector preparedness planning, FEMA has released a new exercise resource: the ‘National Level Exercise 2012: Cyber Capabilities Tabletop Exercise.’

This has been developed by FEMA for use by its private sector preparedness partners and is designed to:

  • increase understanding of cyber threat alerts, warnings and information sharing across sectors;
  • test and evaluate government-private sector coordinating structures, processes, and capabilities regarding cyber event response and recovery.

The Tabletop Exercise is an interactive exercise, complete with accompanying facilitator’s notes and scripted video injects.
