BSI publishes new risk management code of practice and guidance

‘BS 31100:2011: code of practice and guidance for the implementation of BS ISO 31000’.

ISO 31000:2009 is one of the key global risk management standards and now BSI has published a related British Standard, BS 31100:2011, which provides a code of practice and guidance for organizations seeking to implement it.

BSI says that BS 31100:2011 ‘gives you practical and specific recommendations on how to put the key principles of effective risk management into a tangible process suited to your organization’.

Although officially published on 30th June 2011, BS 31100:2011 can already be purchased for the price of £105 (non members of the BSI) or £52.50 (members).

To purchase go to http://shop.bsigroup.com/ and enter ‘BS 31100:2011’ in the search engine.
