PS-Prep ‘Request for Information’ published

The DHS Voluntary Private Sector Preparedness Accreditation and Certification Program (PS-Prep) is considering the creation of a self-declaration of conformity (SDoC) process to provide an alternative method of conformity to the adopted preparedness standards for small business. Small businesses will have the ability to self-declare (SDOC) their conformity to one or more of the DHS-adopted preparedness standards.

In order to gather private sector and stakeholder information on this portion of PS-Prep, DHS has published a Request for Information (RFI). The objective of the RFI is to solicit information and ideas concerning the optimal approaches to private sector management of the Self-Declaration of Conformity (SDOC) for small business entities as part of the larger PS-Prep. DHS encourages private sector entities and/or stakeholders interested in commenting on the RFI to take part. Click here to read the RFI.
