Everbridge has announced that it has appointed Darren Smith as Head of Professional Services. Mr. Smith assumes immediate responsibility for the existing professional services, implementations and sales engineering departments, as well as joining the EMEA senior management team.
Prior to joining Everbridge, Smith was Head of Business Continuity Management at Experian. Here he led the business continuity, organizational resilience, ITDR and crisis management teams across the UK and Ireland, EMEA and APAC regions. Before this, Smith spent seven years as Vice President, Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery, EMEA at Northern Trust Corp.
Commenting on the appointment, Nick Hawkins, EMEA Managing Director of Everbridge, said: “Darren is a strategic addition to our team who brings impressive levels of experience.
