In a virtual ceremony, the BCI has presented its 2022 BCI Global Awards. These feature the winners of the year’s regional awards and recognise the achievements of individuals, teams, and organizations working in business continuity and resilience across the world.
The BCI Global Awards 2022 winners were:
- BCI Continuity and Resilience Consultant Award: Mark W. Hoffman MBCI
- BCI Continuity and Resilience Professional (Private Sector) Award: Jayne Romanczuk MBCI
- BCI Continuity and Resilience Professional (Public Sector) Award: Thomas Bennett MBCI
- BCI Most Effective Recovery Award: Telekom Malaysia Berhad
- BCI Continuity and Resilience Newcomer Award: Charlotte Strickley
- BCI Continuity and Resilience Team Award: NBB Group Team – NBB Group (NBB and BisB)
- BCI Continuity and Resilience Provider (Product/Service) Award: URIM App by URIM
- BCI Continuity and Resilience Innovation Award: Reskube Home by Reskube
- BCI Continuity and Resilience Contributor Award: Rina Singh MBCI
- BCI Collaboration in Resilience Award: Red Sea Global

BCI Achievement Awards were also presented – these recognise service to the BCI and the wider business continuity profession. These were:
- Jo Tyler - BCI Diploma Gold Award
- Gayle Freeman CBCI - BCI Alan Reed Award
- Michael Crooymans MBCI – BCI Gifted Grade Award
- Rina Singh MBCI – BCI Achievement Award
- Alex Fullick MBCI – BCI Achievement Award
- Gianna Detoni FBCI – BCI Lifetime Achievement (posthumously)

Hall of Fame
The BCI’s Hall of Fame ‘recognises organizations and individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the industry and continue to do so’ – recipients must have won three BCI awards in the same category.
