The latest business continuity news from around the world

Business continuity professionals have until 26th February 2019 to provide comments on a revised version of the ISO 22301 business continuity management standard. The standard is being reviewed by ISO as part of its usual process for existing standards.

ISO has released the official ISO 22301 Draft International Standard for Public Comment (DIS) and BSI, as the UK’s National Standards Body, is seeking to consult with continuity and resilience practitioners, managers, and other interested parties to participate in this review. Business continuity managers can register their comments online at:  https://www.bsigroup.com/en-GB/iso-22301-business-continuity/revision/

Anne Hayes, Head of Governance and Resilience at BSI, said: “Our business landscape is constantly changing and therefore our continuity strategy and so the solutions to deal with disruption need to keep evolving too. There is clearly a dependency between those who implement solutions and those who help shape the standard. This is why we are encouraging everyone to engage and share their feedback on this draft international standard.”
