Business Continuity Awareness Week (BCAW) 2018 update page

This year’s Business Continuity Awareness Week takes place from Monday 14th to Friday 18th May 2018. Organized by the Business Continuity Institute (BCI), the annual event aims to raise wider awareness of the business continuity profession.

Theme

The theme of BCAW 2018 is ‘Working Together to Improve Organizational Resilience’ and the week will be kicked-off with the launch of the ‘Organizational Resilience Manifesto’. This will take place on Monday morning (9-11am) in London.

According to the BCI, the Organizational Resilience Manifesto, written by David Thorp, Executive Director of the BCI, will explain where the BCI is placed in the resilience landscape and how it will move forward in this area.

Two other launch events will be held for the Organizational Resilience Manifesto: one in Toronto on Tuesday 15th May (11am to 13.00pm); and one in Sydney on Tuesday 15th May (4pm to 6.30pm).

Webinars

The BCI will be hosting webinars throughout the week, presented by various members and organizations. The webinars will be based on the BCAW theme. You can view the webinar listing here.
