Business Continuity Consultant

Location: UK, Remote

Rate: £550-650 per day (paid weekly, online timesheet)

A Public Sector client is looking for a Business Continuity specialist to join its team on a six month critical business programme. You will develop and maintain Business Continuity procedures, plans, and awareness in line with organization.

Job role

  • Developing, updating, and executing business continuity program goals, including development and reporting against metrics and key performance indicators
  • Working with business teams to conduct Business Impact Assessments (BIA) and risk assessments, identify critical services, define recovery objectives, and map critical dependencies.
  • Must be SC Cleared or be prepared to undergo the vetting process
  • Ideally will have worked within a central government department previously
  • Experience of Business Continuity Management
  • Experience delivering major projects and change management
  • Review of current BC arrangements across the group
  • A recommendation on a future BC service for the group
  • Interaction with stakeholders to test and validate this recommendation
  • Work to begin delivering this recommendation including the consolidation and revision of policies and guidance
