To design and maintain the Business Continuity (BC) and Crisis Management (CM) Framework for QinetiQ Group and support its local application globally within the operational Sectors. Undertake second line BC and CM assurance and testing, and provide relevant training and mentoring to the QinetiQ Leadership Team, Group Functions and operational Sectors.
Job role
- Oversee the design, development, maintenance, and implementation of business continuity and crisis management plans for all operating Sectors and functional areas on a global basis
- Facilitating business continuity and crisis management exercises to test the effectiveness of business continuity plans and identify gaps
- Develop policies and procedures that provide consistent and strategic BC and CM direction/oversight for varied programs across QinetiQ Group, and can be audited broadly for compliance
- Develop collaborative BC and CM strategies, plans and exercises that improve continually the resiliency of the enterprise
- Create and maintain Group risk assessments and business impact analyses and assure those of the operating Sectors
- Work with cross functional teams
- Test the plan via table top exercises, simulation tests, and full interruption tests
- Conduct training for individuals to prepare them for their expected tasks
- Coordinate and support the deployment of global or local program initiatives
- Monitor progress and trending of resiliency activities
- Coordinate and support the deployment of global or local program initiatives
- Support the design and implementation of a supplier Risk Assessment process related to business continuity and recovery concerns
- Support QinetiQ subsidiary businesses in aligning BC and CM plans with QinetiQ plans, policies and procedures
