Head of Business Continuity and Emergency Planning

This post has a key role in ensuring that business continuity and emergency plans and arrangements are in place and in providing assurance to the Trust and to NHS England that national standards for Emergency Preparedness, Resilience and Response (EPRR) are met.

Applicants should be educated to master’s level or be able to demonstrate other equivalent relevant experience and knowledge and have a significant depth and breadth of experience in emergency planning and / or business continuity management gained whilst working at a senior level in the NHS or similarly complex public sector organisation.

The successful applicant should also have the ability to effectively communicate complex and sensitive information and data and be able to work with and build effective networks with staff and managers in the Trust and other relevant organisations in relation to management of the EPRR agenda.
