BNET to expand CEAS program in the NY-NJ-CT-PA region
BNET has announced a regional expansion initiative sponsored by the Regional Catastrophic Planning Team (RCPT) of New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Pennsylvania. The project will assist BNET to develop and implement a regional solution to expand the successful Corporate Emergency Access System (CEAS).

The CEAS program facilitates business recovery activities and speeds overall community recovery by providing priority, credential based access for critical business employees to their work facilities. This is the first attempt at regionalizing the program.

The CEAS is currently used by New York City, Nassau, Suffolk and Rockland Counties in New York and in Stamford, Connecticut. CEAS is also used in the cities of Boston and Cambridge, Massachusetts; Providence, Rhode Island; Buffalo, New York; Philadelphia and Baltimore. http://ceas.com/

Jermyn Consulting achieves ISO 22301
Business continuity consultancy, Jermyn Consulting, has achieved ISO 22301. The accreditation demonstrates that the Yorkshire and Warwickshire based organization is well placed to advise leading companies and institutions on minimising business risk, increasing their own resilience while reducing financial and other costs caused by disruption.

“Jermyn Consulting was an early adopter of BS25999, converting to the new ISO proves that we practice what we preach and enables us to play devil’s advocate when advising clients going for the accreditation,” said Taidhgh O’Regan, sales and marketing director.

“Having to work to a standard gives us discipline around our own business continuity and complements our existing ISO 27001 information security accreditation,” he added.
