The funding will allow UKCIP to develop strategic research on the impacts of climate change across the UK, but also strengthen the role that the programme plays in equipping organisations, such as local authorities, businesses, services and utilities, and regional government, to prepare themselves for climate change. www.ukcip.org.uk
