Indonesia travel warning issued by Australian and UK governments
Both the Australian and UK governments have issued warnings about the increasing threat of terrorist attacks on Western interests in Indonesia.The UK Foreign Office said that there remains a high threat from terrorism in Indonesia. It believes that there is a heightened risk of attacks in the lead up to and during this Christmas/New Year period and that these are in the final stages of preparation. Attacks could occur at any time, anywhere in Indonesia and are likely to be directed against locations frequented by foreigners.
