Quick survey – VOIP AND BUSINESS CONTINUITY
A recent IR survey conducted of 2,800 IT&T managers in the US, Asia, and Europe has found that IP telephony is steadily replacing legacy PSTN systems in medium-to-large companies. 56 percent of respondents are already using an IP telephony system and 26 percent expect to implement a trial of the technology within 12 months. The survey found that the main factors behind the implementation of Voice over IP (VoIP) systems IP telephony are cost-related.
