Bell
Microproducts Inc., a value-added provider of storage products and
solutions, has announced the launch of ‘Information Lifecycle
Solutions’. This new program is designed to give VARs the
ability to solve end user data protection and management issues
with proven solutions. The program will provide VARs with a number
of certified solutions that can reduce risk for customers, shorten
sales cycles, and create new market opportunities for resellers
leveraging the in-depth data management expertise at Bell Microproducts.
The program will consist of a complete family
of solution packages focused on SME IT data management issues. The
packages will include solutions in the areas of business continuity,
disaster recovery, data security and document archiving.
The first in the business continuity series
focuses on replication of data to remote sites. The offerings in
this series cover a variety of possible solutions that meet various
availability requirements and budgets. They incorporate technologies
such as synchronous and asynchronous block level replication, file
replication and remote tape back-up. All feature top brand suppliers
such as EMC, HP, Falconstor and NSI.
Other Information Lifecycle Solutions targeted
at end user mission critical issues will be rolled out throughout
first quarter 2004.
Each solutions offering includes:
- Presales assessment tools
- Whitepapers describing offerings with features and benefits
- End user customer presentations
- Executive summary describing offer
- Sample quotes for hardware software and services
- Proposal templates
- Training that teaches the VAR about the components in the solution
as
well as how to deliver the solution to the end user.
- A suite of services including design, installation, project management,
implementation and maintenance services
The VARs then choose the areas to complement
their expertise where Bell Microproducts resources would assist
as necessary to insure a proper installation and functionality.
