HCL Comnet establishes new disaster recovery centre in Chennai

HCL Comnet, a subsidiary of HCL Technologies, has recently established a disaster recovery site in Chennai, India. HCL already has a network operations centre in New Jersey, US and in Noida, near New Delhi, India. The Chennai centre will act as a redundant centre for the Noida centre. The company had considered locations in Malaysia, Singapore and Australia before choosing Chennai.

HCL Comnet offers network, security, data-centre and e-business operations managed services. Managed disaster recovery services include information security (including intrusion detection, firewall and token authentication) as well as business continuity services.
