Recovery Solutions, a provider of on-site business recovery and
continuity solutions across the United States and Canada, has announced
that it has added an online data backup capability to its portfolio.
The new service, which is the result of a strategic agreement with
AmeriVault Corp., synchronises online data backup, off-site storage
and physical recovery equipment to mitigate business interruption
due to data loss or disaster.
“As the acceptable window for recovery
continues to shrink for businesses, it was imperative to Agility
that we provide a solution that would provide our customers with
state of the art, cost effective and reliable backup options that
would smoothly transition into a recovery plan if the situation
warranted,” said Robert Miano, president and CEO of Agility
Recovery Solutions. “We often see customers plagued with out
of date or corrupted data at the time of disaster – this partnership
ensures that their data is available and accurate, speeding up the
entire recovery process, and significantly reducing this prevalent
problem.”
Anna Frazzetto, VP of Professional Services
for Agility adds, “We were impressed by the true scalability
of the AmeriVault product, allowing us to offer the same high quality
solution to our larger customers, while ensuring our customers in
the small and medium size markets, and on multiple platforms, were
also adequately covered.”
With Mass Storage Vaults located in the Boston
and Philadelphia areas, AmeriVault is well positioned to provide
reliable, secure and automated server backup to Agility’s
customers. “The pairing of Agility’s recovery options
and our remote backup solution provides for a unique and affordable
disaster recovery offering,” said Bud Stoddard, president
and CEO of AmeriVault Corp. “We can now tailor a disaster
recovery solution to match the shrinking recovery time objectives
companies are seeking.”
