Consultants-only business continuity discussion group launched

Continuity Central has created a discussion group exclusively for business continuity consultants.

This has been done to:
* Allow those active in business continuity consulting to discuss the subject and related areas at a high level and to share relevant information and opinions.
* Allow the easy dissemination of consultancy opportunities and tenders to business continuity consultants. Continuity Central receives frequent requests to send information to BC consultants. This list will become the place where this will take place.
* Allow BC consultants to ask questions about the fitness-for-purpose of business continuity software, products and services that other consultants may have tried.
* Allow BC consultants to share information about clients who have failed to pay invoices, thus ensuring that other consultants don’t get stung by the same company.

The group is hosted by Yahoo! Groups and all group messages will be moderated to ensure that the list is not subject to spamming or other Internet-type abuses. Also, to ensure that only legitimate consultants join, all membership requests are subject to approval.

At the time of writing, 12 hours after the launch of the group, 64 consultants have signed up as members.
