On Friday, December 5th, 2003,
from 7:30am - 4pm, The Contingency Planning Association of the Carolinas
(CPAC) will present its 6th annual symposium, ‘Workforce Threats
and Business Continuity’. The event will be held at the Charlotte
Police/Fire Training Academy on Shopton Road.
The event will look at:
* What would you do if your organisation faced biological terrorism,
an outbreak of an infectious disease like SARS, or even food poisoning?
* What are local, state, and national agencies doing to help the
private sector develop or enhance their business continuity plans?
How can you be better prepared?"
Afternoon sessions include a mock disaster
exercise, allowing delegates to participate practically.
Advance registrations are $100 for CPAC members
and $150 for non-members. Registrations at the door are $125 and
$175 respectively.
