ColoSpace,
Inc., a provider of colocation, disaster recovery and managed services,
has announced the opening of its newest facility, in Marlborough,
Massachusetts.
This new data centre facility will allow businesses
in the I-495/Route 9 Corridor, Worcester, MA, Providence, RI, and
Hartford, CT, areas to conveniently locate their mission critical
computer network servers in a secured off-site location while retaining
electronic access 24 x 7.
ColoSpace currently operates two other facilities
in Massachusetts and one in New Hampshire. All of the facilities
are networked together to provide true redundancy and failsafe uptime.
"ColoSpace's goal is to provide New England
companies with carrier class data centre space, first class technical
support and managed services to ensure clients can resume business
operations quickly and seamlessly in the event of an unforeseen
disruption of power or communications services," said Wayne
Sawchuk, president and CEO of ColoSpace. "Companies also require
this highly reliable, quality service to off load peak development
work which would otherwise impact critical day-to-day operations
or to fulfil compliancy with regulations for data recovery, such
as HIPPA in the medical industry, or SEC guidelines in the financial
community."
All of ColoSpace's facilities boast multiple
Tier One Internet Carriers, access to several major telecom and
fibre providers, battery and generator backup power, fully redundant
Leibert cooling systems, UPS (uninterruptible power supply), fire
detection and control and 24 x 7 secure access.
