According
to CIO magazine's October Tech Poll, US chief information officers
plan to increase across the board technology spending by 6 percent
The poll found that security software continues
to be the strongest sector, with roughly 57 percent of respondents
planning to increase spending in this area.
When asked about the level of priority that
business continuity/IT disaster recovery services expenditures will
receive next year, 20.9 percent of the panellists indicated that
it would receive zero-to-low priority. Roughly 50.8 percent of the
panellists indicated that it would receive medium priority, while
27.0 percent indicated that it would receive high priority.
