Get free weekly news by e-mailTerremark Worldwide, Inc., an operator of integrated Tier-1 Network Access Points (NAPs) and network services, has announced that it has launched new storage solutions to help its customers safeguard their mission critical business data and support their disaster recovery and business continuity planning. This new portfolio of ‘utility-based’ services allows customers to pay only for the services that they use, without investing in additional equipment or staff.

Terremark has partnered with Arsenal Digital Solutions, a vendor-neutral storage management services provider, to deliver the new backup and recovery services, which combine state-of-the-art storage and backup technology with the massive network connectivity and fortress-style 700 Terabyte infrastructure found at Terremark's NAP of the Americas.

"Today, customers are deeply concerned with the safety, reliability and accessibility of their mission critical data," said Frank Brick, chairman and CEO, Arsenal Digital Solutions. "By combining our expertise in providing leading storage solutions with Terremark's facility, with its redundant and secure infrastructure, these new services allow customers to backup and store copies of their data at Terremark's NAP of the Americas, without the need for capital investment."
