ANSI-HSSP resiliency metrics roundtable The American National Standards Institute Homeland Security Standards Panel (ANSI-HSSP) is to host a roundtable discussion that will look at resiliency metrics. ‘Resiliency Metrics: Standards, Test Labs & Methods, and Measuring Tools’ will take place on August 22 and will discuss current resilience standards and the possible creation of a new system for designating resilience. The event will be held at the Hyatt Regency New Orleans in conjunction with the 61st SES Annual Conference, overseen by SES – The Society for Standards Professionals, which is scheduled to take place August 19th-22nd in New Orleans. The roundtable will examine current standards that touch on issues of resilience in a variety of relevant fields, including transportation and information technology. In addition, the discussion will touch on methods of measuring resilience, as well as the possibility of creating public-private cooperative groups to establish a comprehensive certification and ratings system for designating resilience. The roundtable format is intended to allow for significant attendee participation in the discussions.
