National infrastructure protection: emerging technologies
The UK Centre for the Protection of National Infrastructure (CPNI) has published a document which aims to start discussions on emerging technologies that are likely to impact on cyber security.
‘National infrastructure protection: emerging technologies’ is the result of a CPNI project that looked at technologies and techniques that are considered to be relevant to the future protection of UK national infrastructure.
A total of 32 topics are considered, all being related to cyber security.
Where possible, the topics are linked to the SANS Top 20 Critical Security Controls for Effective Cyber Defence.
Although dated April 2012 the document has only just been publically released by CPNI.
