The 2012 Middle East business continuity awards

The Business Continuity Institute has launched a new business continuity awards scheme for the Middle East. The BCI Middle East Awards will recognise the outstanding contribution of business continuity professionals and organizations living in or operating in the Middle East.

The Awards will be presented to the winners as part of a BCI-linked conference that is due to take place on 9th October 2012 in UAE.

There are nine judged categories and one category that will be decided by public vote:

Judged Categories

• Business Continuity Consultant of the Year
• Business Continuity Manager of the Year
• Public Sector Business Continuity Manager of the Year
• Most Effective Recovery of the Year
• BCM Newcomer of the Year
• Business Continuity Team of the Year
  
• Business Continuity Provider of the Year (BCM Service)
• Business Continuity Provider of the Year (BCM Product)
• Business Continuity Innovation of the Year (Product/Service)

Public Vote Category

• Industry Personality of the Year

The deadline for entries is Friday 17th August 2012.
