New recovery facility options for South Yorkshire organizations

Onyx Group has officially opened its South Yorkshire Data Centre. The new 22,000 sq. ft facility provides high capacity data hosting, with space for 320 racks, as well as 500 workplace recovery seats for business continuity use.

Onyx Group CEO, Neil Stephenson, commented: "The Data Centre will provide great benefits to Yorkshire businesses because it is unique in its approach as it can house all of a company's data hosting and business continuity needs under one roof.

"Opening a facility like this is great news for the Yorkshire region as it demonstrates that businesses are keen to invest here and provide support to a thriving, innovative business hub which is fast becoming one of the UK's key regions for growth."

The Yorkshire Data Centre is one of 11 Onyx Group sites throughout the UK alongside London, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Newcastle and Teesside.
