Speaker line-up for World Risk Day Virtual Summit announced World Risk Day, the first-ever awareness day focused on risk management, has announced the initial schedule of speakers for the World Risk Day Virtual Summit taking place on Tuesday, June 26th, 2012. The Virtual Summit will feature a program of webcasts, interviews and live Q&A sessions with risk practitioners from around the world. Virtual Summit presenters include:
Thomas H. Stanton, former senior staff member at the US Financial Crisis Inquiry Commission, will launch his new book ‘Why Some Firms Thrive And Others Fail’, with a presentation on World Risk Day. The World Risk Day Virtual Summit also brings together presentations from key international risk trade associations. Alex Hindson, past president of the Institute of Risk Management (IRM) and head of Group Risk at Amlin will share insights on ‘The importance of Risk Culture’. Carol Fox, director of Strategic and Enterprise Risk Practice at RIMS will present on ‘The Tipping Points of Risk Management’. John Schaefer, director of Risk Management and Business Continuity, SanDisk Corporation, will speak on ‘The Connection between Enterprise Risk, Business Continuity and Insurance.’ The Virtual Summit will also feature senior speakers from IRMSA (South Africa) and RMA (Germany, Austria, Switzerland).
