2013 edition of NFPA 1600 moves closer to publication

Over the past year the US National Fire Protection Association has been working on the latest update to the NFPA 1600 Standard on Disaster/Emergency Management and Business Continuity Programs. This will be published as the NFPA 1600 2013 edition.

The development process is now entering its final stages after the NFPA published the results of the final ballot on the ‘report on comments’ yesterday (June 11).

During the ballot the 35 voting members decided whether to accept or reject committee decisions on the various comments that were submitted after the release of the draft version of the new edition of the business continuity standard.
