Updated PPD-8 documents available to view

The four under-development US National Planning Frameworks have been revised following an extensive public review process.

In March 2012, FEMA asked for feedback on the PPD-8 National Planning Frameworks. The result was over 3,000 comments and ideas collecting via web-forms, webinars and in-person workshops.

FEMA has now incorporated these submissions into the working draft National Planning Framework documents. The new versions can be viewed at the links below:

Draft National Prevention Framework
Draft National Protection Framework
Draft National Mitigation Framework
Draft National Response Framework

Currently FEMA is working with representatives from federal departments and agencies to gain their inputs. It will then package the documents in preparation for submission to the White House by June 30, 2012.
