Avalution Consulting Wins ‘Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery Company of the Year’ Award at the First Annual BCI Awards – North America

Avalution Consulting – a leader in business continuity, continuity of operations planning (COOP) and IT disaster recovery consulting, outsourcing and software solutions – won the award for Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery Company of the Year last night at the first annual BCI Awards - North America.

Open to all business continuity management professionals regardless of professional membership and/or certification, the first annual BCI Awards - North America were held last night (Tuesday, March 27th) in conjunction with Disaster Recovery Journal (DRJ) Spring World 2012. The awards recognized excellence in 13 categories, inclusive of individual achievement and enterprise/product categories, and winners were chosen by a panel of BCI-appointed judges.

Nominees for Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery Company of the Year – sponsored by Continuity Central – were evaluated on their business profile, industry experience, products and services, business continuity/disaster recovery professional influence, specific achievement and external certification, and customer endorsements.

Brian Zawada, Director of Consulting, and Robert Giffin, Director of Technology, accepted the award on behalf of Avalution. After the ceremony, Zawada commented, “Thank you to the Business Continuity Institute (BCI) and xMatters for sponsoring this effort. We greatly appreciate this recognition. Our consulting team works exceptionally hard each and every day to innovate, deliver strategic advice, and above all, provide the highest quality solutions in the industry. This is a true honor. We’re also thrilled with our ongoing association with the BCI. As a long-time proponent of BCI’s role as a strategic leader and the leading certification body, we’re excited to see BCI’s role expand to recognize leading individuals and organizations in our profession.”

eBRP Solutions (eBRP) is the proud winner of the 2012 “Business Continuity Management Planning Software of the Year” award presented by the Business Continuity Institute – North America (BCI)

Selected from among a distinguished list of finalists, by a panel of Business Continuity industry judges, eBRP’s flagship product eBRP Suite was presented this prestigious award at the 2012 DRJ Spring World in Orlando on March 27th.

“We’re honored that the BCI has recognized eBRP’s leadership in the development of BCM software”, said Ken Mah, eBRP’s Sr. Business Development Manager. “We are indebted to the entire eBRP Team, whose efforts have helped eBRP Suite become the leader in BCM Planning software. And we owe eBRP Suite’s users an equal vote of thanks,” Mah said, “because it is their partnership with eBRP that drives the continuing evolution of eBRP Suite to meet the ever-changing needs of Business Continuity Professionals and their BCM programs.”
