| SunGard holding Connections 2003 conference 25th-26th March, 2003, Hilton London Metropole Hotel SunGard Availability Services will be holding a two day conference next week. Entitled Connections 2003, it will be attended by professionals who are responsible for the protection of business-critical processes and IT systems. Across the two days there will be more than 25 speakers from a wide range of industries including banking, logistics, finance and government. These include senior management from Abbey National, Barclays, TNT, UBS Warburg and The Corporation of London. The three keynote speakers will be BBC journalist John Humphrys, world champion athlete and BBC sport presenter Roger Black, and Olympic champion and television presenter Kriss Akabusi. The conference will include 24 breakout sessions that aim to help business continuity professionals deal with the most pressing information availability issues in the industry today; amongst them the highly topical security and continuity, risk and regulation and business continuity awareness.
