PAS 200:2011 to be launched on 29th September

PAS 200:2011, the new crisis management standard created by the UK Cabinet Office and the British Standards Institution, will be launched on 29th September at an event in London.

The launch event will take place on at Admiralty Arch and will include speeches from:

  • Tim McGarr, sector manager risk portfolio, British Standards Institution
  • Dr Robert MacFarlane, Cabinet Office
  • Peter Power, managing director, Visor Consultants
  • David Evans, global head of emergency response & crisis management, Petrofac
  • Professor Edward Borodzicz, professor of risk and crisis, University of Portsmouth.

‘PAS 200:2011, Crisis management – Guidance and good practice’ aims to help organizations to take practical steps to improve their ability to deal with crises.

Once launched, PAS 200 will be available from here.
