| US keeps an eye on Isabel The NOAA National Hurricane Center in Miami has reported that Hurricane Isabel has reached Category 5 intensity on the Saffir-Simpson hurricane scale. Isabel is currently showing maximum sustained winds of almost 160 mph, with higher gusts. Isabel is the first Category 5 hurricane in the Atlantic basin since Hurricane Mitch in 1998. Mitch resulted in an estimated death toll of 11,000 and it destroyed almost the entire infrastructure of Honduras. The track of Isabel over the next few days
