 Continuity Central is currently conducting a survey to discover what the views of business continuity professionals are about the MTPD concept, which was introduced by BS 25999.
There has been a high response to the survey so far, with around half (53 percent) of respondents believing that MTPD is a useful concept. 26 percent say that it is not useful and 21 percent are unsure.
49 percent of respondents’ organizations are using MTPDs within the business continuity planning process and 48 percent are not. (Three percent don’t know.)
There have been many useful comments about how individual organizations are using MTPDs; these will be published when the survey closes.
