ICM Computer Group plc has exchanged contracts
to acquire a business continuity site in Bristol for £3.8
million in cash from an unnamed bank. Completion of the agreement
is scheduled for late November 2003 and the recovery centre will
become operational in early 2004, following a specialist refit.
This will be ICM's first recovery centre in
the South West of England and complements the Group's eight other
business continuity facilities around the UK.
The centre will provide up to 400 recovery
positions with call centre and data centre support. It is close
to the M4 and M5 motorway junctions and Bristol Parkway main line
rail station.
