Hong Kong closes down as it waits for Typhoon
Dujuan to hit

Typhoon Dujuan, which has been battering southern Taiwan, is on a path that will take it directly over Hong Kong. The typhoon is the most powerful of the current season and has caused severe disruption in Taiwan, bringing down power lines and disrupting the transport system, as well as inflicting physical damage on business premises.

According to the BBC, the Hong Kong stock market has closed as a precaution and businesses have sent staff home.
