BCM Institute launches business continuity auditor certification courses

The Singapore-based BCM Institute has announced that it is now offering two specialist courses on business continuity auditing. These courses ‘BCM-840: Audit BCM SS540’ and ‘BCM-8040 SS540 BCM Lead Auditor’ will lead to the Business Continuity Certified Auditor (BCCA) and Business Continuity Certified Lead Auditor (BCCLA) accreditations.

These programmes will support the Singapore National BCM Programme supported by SPRING and Singapore Business Federations (SBF). All internal, external and certification auditors in Singapore will be formally trained on the auditing of the Singapore business continuity standard SS540:2008.

The new business continuity auditing courses are not supposed to be competitive with existing audit certification such as the CISA and CIA but provide specialized training for existing and new auditors.
