The Cabinet Office has announced the start of a new consultation exercise which will look into Civil Contingencies Act Arrangements for London.
Entitled the ‘Renewing Civil Contingencies Act Arrangements for London- Consultation Exercise’, the project is part of the Civil Contingencies Act Enhancement Programme.
The aim is ‘to ensure civil protection arrangements in London are robust, joined-up and cost effective, and that appropriate structures are in place to support effective partnership working at all levels in the capital and with neighbouring areas’.
The closing date for the consultation is Friday 26th February 2010.
