Radius introduces Business Continuity Power Generation line

Get free weekly news by e-mailRadius Engineering has introduced a Business Continuity Power Generation line consisting of five self-contained underground power plants (SCUPP). Each of the SCUPPs is equipped to provide power off the grid to government, corporate or private users to ensure continuous power availability.

Radius’ Business Continuity Power Generation products were initially engineered to provide power to Radius underground disaster systems, designed to protect individuals and client assets in the case of a disaster. However, a growing number of requests from the business continuity community led CEO and founder of Radius Engineering, Walton McCarthy, ME, to make the SCUPP products available individually as well.

“While disaster recovery is our core competency, we’ve seen a need to also deliver against today’s business continuity needs by providing tools that allow businesses to continue operations in the case of a natural disaster like a hurricane, or a man-made crisis like rolling blackouts,” said Walton. “Instead of waiting passively for power to be restored, customers using Radius BC Power Generation can keep doing business while everyone else is still down.”

The Radius BC Power Generation line includes the SCUPP 400, the SCUPP 2000, CAT 15 Generator Module, CAT 25 Generator Module and Earthcom 32 Support Module. Each provides various benefits depending on organization size and need.
