Double success for BCP Asia

Business Continuity Planning Asia Pte Ltd (BCP Asia), a provider of business continuity training and consultancy services, has announced that it has become the first company to gain certification to both the British Standard BS25999 and the Singapore BCM Standard SS540:2008.

BCP Asia’s BCM manager, Mr. Sai Tu Woei started the certification programme on November 2008. He commented, “I would like to highlight one point that in any BCM programme carried out in an organization, strong support from management and peers lay a good foundation to start the project.”

Director and founder of BCP Asia, Mr. Henry Ee, played a significant role as the BCM Steering Committee chairperson. Mr. Ee commented, “Our BCM consultants are now better equipped with knowledge, skills and experience to assist our clients in establishing a more robust BCM framework that complies with the requirements of British Standard BS25999 and Singapore BCM Standard SS540:2008. The audit experience has definitely benefitted our consultants and we are now in a better position to offer advice to our clients.”
