EnterGroup launches e-mail continuity service

EnterGroup, a US-based provider of outsourced e-mail solutions, has launched a new e-mail continuity service. ‘EnterGroup Email Continuity’, prevents e-mail loss and enables employees to send and receive e-mail via their POP3 e-mail client or Web mail during times of server failure, network interruption, disasters, or any other crisis situation. When there is an interruption in the user's regular service, EnterGroup's e-mail service automatically takes its place allowing the user's employees to continue working.

“E-mail interruptions and outages are critical risks to companies and may cause irreversible damage to the enterprise,” said Arie Linsker, EnterGroup’s CEO. “E-mail outage might result in a loss of business and clients and is one of the worst nightmares any business can face.”

EnterGroup Email Continuity provides the user with standby mailboxes. Each employee can get his/her personal standby mailbox with full send and receive capabilities along with customisable storage per mailbox. During normal operations EnterGroup Email Continuity monitors the user's email without any intervention or disruption to their default e-mail service. If a service interruption occurs E-mail is routed to a standby mailbox with no customer intervention necessary. Clients and associates will not notice that a user’s primary e-mail solution is down or in crisis.
