Clearview completes Texas business continuity and disaster recovery focused data centre

Clearview Managed Services has announced the completion of a new, multi-purpose data center that will become “a nearly failsafe solution for clients' business continuity and disaster recovery programs”.

Located in Waco, Texas, the new Information Technology Gateway (ITG) will be home to enterprise hosting, managed services and business process outsourcing for companies operating throughout Texas and beyond.

The 43,000-square-foot facility includes the following security and business continuity features that can withstand the physical, virtual and personnel disruptions that nationwide disasters create:

- A layered security protocol that includes biometrics, smart cards, DVR cameras and 24x7 personnel
- Dual transformer commercial power feeds and multi-carrier fiber availability for operating capacity and redundancy
- Large staging area to support mobile recovery vehicles and client employees displaced from their daily work environments
-Disaster recovery office space.

The Paul Kite Company teamed with Clearview as developers of the facility.
