New business continuity software launched by Archer Technologies

Archer Technologies, a provider of enterprise governance, risk and compliance solutions, has announced the launch of its new advanced business continuity management software solution: which combines business continuity, disaster recovery and crisis management functions into a single product offering.

Archer Business Continuity Management is built on an award-winning governance, risk and compliance (GRC) platform called the Archer SmartSuite Framework. The company developed it through collaboration with the Archer BCM Working Group, a specialized user community whose membership includes more than 20 Fortune 1000 companies. Archer also engaged KPMG's Information Protection and Business Resilience Practice to validate the solution's design and functionality.

"Business continuity management, disaster recovery and crisis management are key considerations for companies that are leading in managing enterprise business risks," said Greg Bell, KPMG's Information Protection and Business Resilience leader. "The ability to integrate these components with governance, risk and compliance should be a priority for any organization."

Archer also engaged its larger partner community to evaluate the BCM solution, conducting a formal review process with operational risk experts from Accenture, Deloitte & Touche, Ernst & Young, IBM Global Services, Protiviti and Wipro.
