Automated incident management planning software released

ContingenZ Corporation has just released IMCD, new software that automates the disaster recovery and incident management planning process for small to mid-sized businesses and for business units and vendors of larger companies.

IMCD, which stands for Incident Management CD, explains incident management and disaster recovery planning to the user and then guides the user interactively through a series of questions and answers to a complete recovery solution, including both ongoing and emergency operating procedures. The program then uses the answers to develop a fully customised and comprehensive plan that empowers the company to recover in case of a disaster.

According to Michael Miora, CISSP, President and CEO of ContingenZ Corporation, "This is the first program of its kind and is a complete solution for small to mid-sized businesses or departments and regional offices within larger enterprises. IMCD educates the user, asks the questions, does the analysis and produces the procedures that protect a business in case of a disaster."
