MTS Allstream Inc., one of Canada's leading communications companies, has been presented with the Disaster Recovery Institute of Canada's 2009 Award of Excellence. The award was presented at the World Conference on Disaster Management in Toronto.

The Award of Excellence is presented each year to an organization that demonstrates excellence in planning and preparedness in the areas of
business continuity management, technology recovery and crisis management.
