Classic Blue has announced the purchase of
its fourth data and office recovery centre, in Adelaide. The hardened
centre, formally built by the Bank of SA, at an estimated cost of
$20 million, has been specially designed to resist earthquakes,
explosives and intrusion. Security has been strengthened via infrared
alarm systems and closed circuit television.
The purpose built centre has been designed
with continuity in mind with multiple electricity feeds from ETSA,
3 11kv transformers, multiple uninterrupted power supply (UPS) systems
and a V16 twin turbo-charged MTU diesel engine generator capable
of supplying 1.8Mw - delivering an uninterrupted flow of electricity
for up to 7 weeks.
Classic Blue’s other recovery centres
are based in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
