The British government’s Civil Contingencies Secretariat is conducting a public consultation on changes it plans to make to the Emergency Response and Recovery guidance. This non statutory guidance has been updated to reflect changes in response and recovery methodology since version one was published in autumn 2005.
This consultation is the first phase of the Civil Contingencies Act Enhancement Programme (CCAEP).
Following the close of the consultation, on Friday 24 April 2009, the Civil Contingencies Secretariat will work with stakeholders through the ERR Task & Finish Group to finalise the revised guidance with a view to publishing in mid June.
